The Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK) is the central, standardized test of the People's Republic of China for Chinese as a foreign language. This book is designed to help learners prepare for the grammar, vocabulary, and exercises of Level 3 of the new HSK through self-study. It is aligned with the new exam structure introduced in 2010. All exam formats, including listening, reading, and writing, are practiced intensively. All types of tasks from the HSK exam are covered. Solutions to the exercises allow for self-assessment. The book includes all vocabulary and grammar forms for the new HSK 3. An appendix systematically lists the complete grammar with many application examples.
