Hagiotherapeutic anthropology explores humans and their spiritual dimension, their spirit-soul, particularly when it is injured and in need of therapy. Only scientists study and examine the human spirit-soul; only those who are well-informed can understand, diagnose, and find the appropriate therapy for severe and complicated mental illnesses. However, it is possible for everyone to acquire the basic knowledge and fundamental skills to help themselves in daily life based on the principles of hagiotherapeutic anthropology. Prof. Tomislav Ivancic developed a theological-philosophical anthropology that is of great importance for the holistic healing of humans, especially concerning their mental illnesses and dependencies, alongside somatic and psychiatric medicine.
