Sing every day - from the very beginning! The initiative "Die Carusos!" by the German Choral Association aims to make singing suitable for children in kindergartens and preschools a natural part of everyday life. To this end, the resulting songbook offers a comprehensive and diverse treasure trove of songs, including well-known children's songs, folk songs, popular newer dance, play, and movement songs, as well as some commissioned compositions on important themes of kindergarten life. In Germany, children grow up with various cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Therefore, the songbook includes a suitable proportion of songs in foreign languages. Selected children's songs for celebrations from different cultures encourage the integration of traditions from other countries into everyday life. An important bridge to the songs is formed by the German singable adaptations specifically created for this collection.
