The collection "Groove up Your Choir" offers 8 modular vocal arrangements. Each vocal loop covers a specific style (e.g., Reggae, Latin, Rock 'n' Roll, or Techno) and can be learned and sung from memory in a short time. At the center of each arrangement is a short chant that can be accompanied in a building-block style by multiple voices (bass, vocussion, vocal percussion, and harmony parts). This allows for focused work on style, groove, phrasing, expression, and mutual listening. In the choir, the popular styles can be effectively used as warm-ups, circle songs, and material for vocal live arranging. Additionally, they are perfect for vocal improvisation and can also be arranged as impactful concert pieces. "Groove up Your Choir" is available as a conductor's edition and includes the choral score with piano patterns for accompaniment. A CD with complete recordings of the pieces is also included.
