All three questions can be answered with a yes, as the Bible holds a rich treasure of stories about people who become heroes by having the courage to embark on a journey, seek themselves, confront life, and stand up for who they are. The individuals in these stories experience fear, make mistakes, take detours, and ultimately find and follow their personal path—with God's help. Their experiences are fundamentally no different from ours. Observing them discover their own heroism can help us uncover our own. For boys, these are heroic figures for identification.
