Johannes Brahms' late piano pieces have been a cornerstone of the Henle catalog since the early 1950s, available in the two editions HN 36 (paperback) and HN 37 (cloth). In 2011, the volume of piano pieces (HN 6014) was published as part of the new complete edition of Brahms, successfully establishing the edition of these important works on a new musicological foundation. After our urtext editions of Opus 76, 79, and 116-119 have already been updated to match the complete edition in individual issues, we now crown this Brahms project with the publication of the revised collected volume, available in classic paperback or high-quality cloth, or as a handy study edition.
