Emunat Jissra'el is a textbook series in three volumes for religious education of Jewish adolescents in grades 8, 9, and 10, written according to the curriculum guidelines of the Bavarian Ministry of Education for secondary schools. However, this work is also suitable for families and students from other types of schools, particularly considering the importance of the family environment in Judaism. While the first volume focuses on the fundamentals of the Jewish faith, such as prayer, the calendar and its holiday cycle, the beginnings of Judaism, the Bible, and creation, the other two volumes explore the pillars of Shabbat and Kashrut as well as rabbinic literature. An important aspect is also the engagement with Jewish history from antiquity to the present. The series culminates in an in-depth study of the Torah.
