Emunat Jissra'el is a textbook series in three volumes for religious education of Jewish adolescents in grades 8, 9, and 10, written according to the curriculum guidelines of the Bavarian Ministry of Education for secondary schools. However, this work is also suitable for families and students from other types of schools, particularly considering the importance of the family environment in Judaism. Volume 2 of Emunat Jissra'el is the long-awaited continuation of the textbook series for school instruction and family use. While the first volume explored the fundamentals of Judaism, such as the calendar, biblical holidays, prayer, and the structure of the Jewish Bible, the second volume focuses on important figures from the Torah. Additionally, it introduces the pillars of Jewish daily life, Shabbat and Kashrut. The final section addresses the history of Hellenistic antiquity.
