Hans Rosenthal (1925-1987) was a star of the entertainment industry, a showmaster and entertainer of a distinctive format. After the early death of his parents, he grew up in Berlin orphanages and had to perform forced labor after finishing middle school. In the spring of 1943, he went into hiding and concealed himself, among other places, in a community garden colony until liberation. He began his career in broadcasting in 1945 at RIAS Berlin, quickly rising through the ranks. Since the early 1970s, he hosted the extremely popular and successful ZDF quiz show "Dalli Dalli." He was the chairman of the representative assembly of the Jewish community in Berlin and a member of the Central Council of Jews in Germany.
