Product details

International personnel deployments are often examined solely in terms of success criteria such as the adaptation and task fulfillment of employees and their efficiency for the company. The perspectives of those affected, namely the employees working abroad and their families, which also encompass life areas and biographical experiences beyond the company context, are rarely taken into account. The same applies to the practice of student exchanges: although programs to promote student mobility have a long tradition and despite a growing number of degree programs that have firmly integrated a stay abroad into their curriculum, the intercultural experiences of students have seldom been systematically evaluated using qualitative methods. This is where the present contributions come in: The chapters.
