Product details

Jacques Herbin, Ink 1670, Violet Impérial, 50ml Bottle. The inks in the 1670 series celebrate the year the Jacques Herbin house was founded in the heart of Paris, where sealing wax was originally produced, followed by writing inks. The 1670 inks feature intense colors and shine with a golden shimmer. Ink 1670, Violet Impérial, with bluish reflections and a thousandfold shimmer, offers an unparalleled writing experience. 50ml bottle. Due to the rarity of the tinctures, this color, a symbol of luxury but also of mystery, was used in the Roman Empire by the emperor and his family, as well as later by various royal houses. King Louis XIV, under whose reign the Jacques Herbin house was founded, also used it at certain times in his life for his clothing. This fresh and elegant color is now highly valued, especially in decoration and design. The ink is suitable for fountain pens, rollerball pens, glass pens, and dip pens. The sealing of the cap and the seal on the bottle are handcrafted in our workshops.

Herbin 1670 Ink Jacques Herbin 1670 Collection Ink Bottle (50ml). The 1670 collection inks, exclusive to Jacques Herbin, commemorate the inaugural year of the start of the Herbin brand, right in the heart of Paris. It was created first of all to market its sealing wax and later its writing inks. The intense and deep colours of the 1670 anniversary collection are illuminated by gold glitter. The waxing of the cap and the seal on the bottle are done by hand in Jacque Herbin's workshops. Each bottle of ink is boxed and delivered individually. Émeraude de Chivor (translating as Emerald of Chivor) is a bluish tint ink with green highlights. The bright shine is obtained thanks to the twinkling of its golden glitter, providing an ever renewed pleasure of writing. The most famous emeralds are known to have a particularly sparkling beauty - arriving from the time of the conquisadors and the Chivor mines in Columbia. The waxing of the cap and the seal on the bottle are done by hand in Jacque Herbin's workshops. Each bottle of ink is boxed and delivered individually.
