Product details
In 1481, a copy of a text by the Dominican monk Dietrich von Apolda was created in the Clarissan monastery in Freiburg. The content is the legend of Saint Elisabeth, the daughter of a king of Hungary and landgravine of Thuringia - and to this day a symbol of Christian charity. This book makes the text available to the public for the first time in its Alemannic original along with its High German translation.
