How do we deal with a person who needs care? This book presents four model projects: a citizens' association that takes care of nursing in the village itself, a multi-generational house, dementia shared apartments, and a nursing home that uses animal therapy for dementia. The history, concepts, architecture, and financing of the four projects are discussed, and interviews with residents, relatives, and staff, along with numerous color photos, provide insights into the daily lives of the people involved.
