There is hardly a more ecumenical place than school. Every day, people of different denominations come together there. The confessional nature and ecumenical orientation of religious education is a problem that arises directly from practice. However, it cannot be solved by practice alone. It is set in the context of ecumenism, the global efforts to overcome the division of churches. This volume addresses ecumenical objectives and focal points of ecumenical dialogue.
