This small insect cookbook aims to show a way to prepare insects deliciously. It contains 17 recipes for insect dishes across 10 categories - from appetizers to desserts. Insects can be used and prepared in a variety of ways. The dishes are made with grasshoppers, crickets, house crickets, cockroaches, earthworms, maggots, larvae, or caterpillars. Although earthworms are not insects, this exotic recipe has still been included in the cookbook. The consumption of insects was very common in Western Europe until a few hundred years ago, and dishes featuring them were listed on menus. Unfortunately, this knowledge has been lost and disappeared over the centuries. Perhaps this book will inspire readers to create new, original recipes for different preparation methods or even for insects not listed in this book. And maybe one day, insects will be served at the table just like any other food.
