Jazz Bashara is a criminal. At least a little bit. After all, life in Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is damn expensive and, if you're not a millionaire, pretty uncomfortable. So Jazz does what needs to be done: she smuggles cigarettes and other luxury goods that are banned on the moon for her wealthy clientele. When one day she gets the chance for a lucrative yet illegal job, Jazz jumps at it. But things go wrong, and then her employer is murdered. Suddenly, Jazz finds herself in the middle of a deadly conspiracy, where the fate of Artemis itself is at stake.
