The Kocher-Jagst-Trail runs along the rivers Jagst, Bühler, and Kocher through diverse landscapes. In the Hohenlohe Plain, the remote villages still shaped by agriculture and the numerous panoramic views of the surrounding mountains are impressive. Narrow paths lead into deeply cut valleys with steep slopes and to romantically situated mills. Fascinating are also the open views of the fossil-rich Muschelkalk that dominates the area. The trail reaches several mountains of the Swabian Forest, where in the lower areas of the step edge, you can find orchards with rich fauna and flora. On the heights, you traverse extensive forests with flower-rich edges.
