Three different men are facing a significant decision in their lives. There is the dissatisfied medical student Lars, who is offered by his aunt to take over her vacation home in the Austrian Alps; there is Sven, who wants to finally end the disastrous affair with his stepson and confess to his wife; and there is Tobi, who is making wedding plans with his fiancé Leo. Initially, the men are unknowingly connected to each other. Lars and Sven communicate as still anonymous chat friends on the internet. During their conversations, Lars not only talks about dropping out of his studies but also about his new love, David. David, in turn, is Leo's ex-boyfriend and, much to Leo's dismay, wears Tobi's wedding ring.
