From the inability to forge one's own identity that meets the expectations of those around them, to the suffering inflicted on loving men by the anti-gay Paragraph 175, which inevitably destroyed entire lives, to the confrontation of a son with his homophobic father, who seeks justification for his hatred—each story provides insight into a different facet of the diverse gay experience. Themes of fear of loss are also addressed, whether it's an author trying to write a beautiful life for himself or someone searching for love, only to feel exploited by everyone around them.
