Product details

The renewed economic recession has brought the initiated changes in Cuba to a standstill. The associated hardships are reflected in the behavior and faces of the people living in Havana. Fahrner-Tutseks photographs show the city's residents going about their business, sitting on the street, perhaps playing, or simply waiting. In a poetic approach, the Cuban writer Leonardo Padura describes life in present-day Havana. The volume is complemented by an insightful essay from the renowned photographer and photography theorist Michael Freeman.
