Teenagers are always worth a headline: as brand-obsessed style victims, trendy tech innovators, or pragmatic careerists. As binge drinkers who are picked up by an ambulance from the club on Saturday night, or graffiti artists who deface private property. When it comes to youth, it seems to be sexy to play the piano of scandals. Nevertheless, the children of the crisis are indifferent to this. They shrug and say: We’re used to it anyway; adults have tunnel vision. All in all, today’s youth is contradictory, dynamic, and often a bit superficial – just like the society that surrounds them. Without a grand plan, they juggle through life, participating as best they can, even when they see little sense in it. And in between, they throw parties to escape the burdens of everyday life. But they also ask questions.
