Information about the Author
Thi Bui was born in Vietnam and immigrated to the United States as a child. She studied art and law and considered becoming a civil rights attorney, but instead chose to become a public school teacher. She lives in Berkeley with her son, husband, and mother. The Best We Could Do is her first graphic novel.
