Eva Lingg presents various design logics that intersect during the construction of universities. She demonstrates how these can be integrated into planning processes and ultimately become visible in the materialization. The author identifies crucial factors and moments in such planning procedures and offers design guidelines for the future planning of educational buildings, which aim to provide an architectural response to new teaching and learning concepts, contemporary working methods, and expanded forms of collaboration between research and teaching, as well as among different academic disciplines. Often, this also requires new locations that not only provide space for university development but also enhance the institutions' visibility.
