In the storm drains, in the sewers, It lurked and took on the shape of every nightmare, the deepest fears of each one. Sometimes It appeared as a sinister clown named Pennywise, and sometimes It reached out, tore, killed.

Time passed, and the children grew up, moved away, and forgot. Then they are called back to confront It once again, as It stirs and writhes in the murky depths of their memories, turning their past nightmares into a horrifying present reality.
