What possibilities of sublime speaking exist today? The starting point of these poems is the typically elevated tone characteristic of Hölderlin. However, the poetry is repeatedly shattered by play and theory, feigning the approach of historical-critical editions, and is either advanced to the essential, the autonomous poem, or reworked as poetic mass, as material, leading to infinite interconnectivity. Of course, this is never done without considering the irony of its internal logic. Thus, lyricism is also a conceptual endeavor, much like in the visual arts. The intention, however, is unmistakably to restore the poem in its complete and moving form and, metaphorically, to place it within a web of references.
