For over 10 years, Lorenz Christian Köhler and Nanda Ben Chaabane have been exploring the theme of The Little Prince in all its facets. In 2004, their successful production of the play premiered with their own theater company, drehbühne berlin, which continues to tour successfully across Germany. In 2008, an audio play adaptation was created from this production, followed by a film adaptation in 2011. The present stage version, based on the original translation by Grete and Joseph Leitgeb, skillfully selects scenes and reduces the content to its essentials, making the material suitable for the stage and transforming the classic into an exciting play for both children and adults.
