Circuit training is used equally in schools, clubs, and recreational sports groups. The author has set out to present functional exercises for various muscle groups, taking into account developments in training theory over recent years, and to complement these with some motivating exercises (balance exercises, playful exercises, stretching and relaxation exercises). As a supplement to the book, the reader receives a CD-ROM that contains graphics of the individual exercises as well as example circuits. With this CD-ROM, the individual exercises can be assembled using approximately 320 available photos, depending on group size, training goals, spatial conditions, and available materials. This eliminates the tedious process of copying, cutting, and pasting.
