Why is volleyball a very popular sport in schools? Perhaps because you don't have to move as much as many believe? However, volleyball is inherently a fast-paced and dynamic game, which adds to its appeal. Or is it because players do not have direct physical contact and can carry out their actions "undisturbed"? On the other hand, playing "volley" with the ball is technically complex, and a lack of technique often interrupts the flow of the game and the ability to play together. The focus of the volleyball double lesson is on playful and game-related teaching, meaning a methodical approach is presented that encourages playing early and quickly, even with challenging and not yet optimal techniques. Above all, long pauses due to frequent interruptions should be avoided.
