Parkour, the efficient way of movement, and Freerunning, a creative form of self-expression using one's body, continue to enjoy unbroken popularity. This volume focuses on providing a sustainable and individualized approach to these movement arts. In the theoretical section, alongside the historical and philosophical foundations, the potential positive influence of Parkour and Freerunning on personal development and risk perception is also clarified. The practical section employs various methodological approaches to address the fundamental landing and rolling techniques, obstacle overcoming techniques, ground acrobatics (forward, backward, sideways, Auerbach somersault), as well as wall techniques (Wall Flip, Wall Spin), and ultimately swinging techniques - all accompanied by image sequences and safety fundamentals.
