The Theory in School Sports - Basic Knowledge for Grades 8-10 presents many selected topics from sports science in a student-friendly manner across 2 volumes. With over 200 tasks and more than 350 images, students are introduced to sports theory. The use of operators reflects different levels of difficulty. In this way, the Theory in School Sports represents an innovation in the German-speaking world. Volume 1 focuses on the human body and the impact of physical activity on athletes. It examines the biological relationships between the musculoskeletal system, physical stress, nutrition, and athletic performance. Furthermore, by presenting training theory and the structure of a training session, students are taught how to independently organize and conduct training sessions.
