Gymnastics in childhood has divided into two areas over the past few decades: competitive artistic gymnastics and general children's gymnastics, which is now recognized as the foundation of sports for almost all sports due to its basic training. The present volume "Gymnastics in Primary Education" revisits what many children already know from their children's gymnastics classes, taking into account the 2013 curriculum for children's gymnastics. Considering the primary school curricula of all federal states, the lesson examples have been tailored to the single and double lessons in primary schools. However, they can also be used in after-school care as well as in children's gymnastics at sports clubs.
