The integrative body and movement therapy (IBT) combines body therapeutic and psychotherapeutic methods and is used in many psychosomatic-psychotherapeutic, psychiatric clinics, addiction clinics, outpatient practices, and counseling centers. Experience-centered as well as conflict-revealing perception and movement exercises promote access to the unconscious and assist in healing reorientation processes. The 3rd edition has been completely revised and supplemented with current topics, such as dealing with aggressive impulses and difficult emotions, nature and landscape therapy with severely traumatized patients, as well as movement therapy based on martial arts (Budotherapy). Resource-oriented work with "young adults" is also addressed. The work particularly focuses on the treatment of adults with psychosomatic disorders and explains the fundamentals in an understandable language.
