The JobFit training is a version of "Training with Youth" by Franz Petermann and Ulrike Petermann, adapted for use in schools. It is primarily aimed at students from the eighth grade onwards and is conducted as a group program with entire classes or parts of a class. Through JobFit training, young people can practice social and emotional skills to prepare for the start of their vocational training and careers in a practical way. The program consists of a total of 10 sessions, each lasting two class periods. At the beginning, professional aspirations and wishes are clarified, and opportunities and limitations for one's own career path are identified. Additionally, the self- and external perception of the youth is improved, self-control and perseverance are enhanced, and a positive self-image and confident demeanor are promoted.
