Patients with generalized anxiety disorder often seek treatment for physical complaints but do not disclose that they are constantly worrying. As a result, their generalized anxiety disorder is often not recognized and treated suboptimally. This patient manual is one of the most widely used cognitive-behavioral therapy approaches internationally for the treatment of patients with generalized anxiety disorder and is now available in German. It can be directly provided to patients for psychoeducation.
