This volume presents the learning and motivational psychological foundations as well as the application areas of Educational Psychology in the context of teaching and learning research. It begins with an overview of the general methods of psychology, outlining those particularly relevant for empirical teaching, learning, and educational research. The following chapters provide a comprehensive explanation of the psychological foundations of learning and teaching from both behaviorist and cognitive psychological perspectives, as well as motivational foundations. A key focus of the volume is on the presentation of learning psychological foundations, which are then expanded to include individual conditions for successful learning.
