The school coaching program SCEP is aimed at professionals who wish to train teachers in dealing with students exhibiting expansive behavioral issues, particularly in elementary schools. Expansive behavioral issues include aggressive, oppositional, inattentive, impulsive, and hyperactive behaviors that negatively impact the performance of the affected students and present special challenges for the teacher. SCEP was developed based on behavioral therapeutic methods and has been evaluated for its effectiveness. The school coaching offers two application options (which can also be conducted independently): a one-day training session that can be carried out as a preventive measure with a school staff (max. 25 participants), and individual coaching over approximately 12 weeks, designed for the professional development of one to two teachers.
