The manual describes a practice-oriented cognitive-behavioral training for children and adolescents with social anxiety and social anxiety disorder. The program is designed for children and adolescents aged eight to fourteen and can be implemented in groups of four to eight children. Central elements of the scientifically evaluated program include the modification of dysfunctional cognitions, the testing of strategies and actions in role-playing, as well as graduated exposure to anxiety-provoking situations.
