The series is now in its third round. The titular story "Houston, Houston, Come Here!" is certainly one of the best by the author as well as in the entire genre. After a space journey, an earthly spaceship is intercepted in the future just before its approach to Earth. The all-male crew discovers that only women remain on Earth. For this story, James Tiptree Jr. received the coveted Hugo Award, the Nebula Award, and the Jupiter Award in 1977, at which point her identity had not yet been revealed. "A warning sign should be erected before the brilliant work of James Tiptree Jr.: Beware, enter at your own risk!
