Brigitta Barandun's study has identified various forms of enthusiasm among educators in instrumental and vocal pedagogy and assessed their significance. This enthusiasm is expressed in the personal characteristics of the teacher, their individual teaching style, and typically an intense relationship with the students. Classes taught by enthusiastic teachers often appear detached from didactic concepts but can lead to extraordinary learning processes. However, negative aspects such as overwhelm, dependencies, or a lack of systematically taught fundamentals can also be observed, which is why a solid foundation based on pedagogical principles is essential.
