Everyday German is aimed at German learners whose native language is Spanish, who feel uncertain in everyday situations and conversations with native German speakers. The focus is on learning common, idiomatically correct everyday phrases. The book consists of 13 main chapters, each divided into four thematically related sub-chapters, covering important everyday topics such as greetings and introductions, polite expressions, expressing opinions, discussing feelings and emotions, leisure, sports, media, making phone calls, and more. The "Good to Know" box at the end of each sub-chapter summarizes important information on the topic in Spanish. Additionally, there are comments in Spanish in the margins regarding language use, sources of errors, regional peculiarities, cultural differences, and more. A detailed appendix provides information about nuances in conversations with native speakers, typical gestures of the country, and grammar.
