Target group: Adult learners at community colleges and similar institutions with prior knowledge from school or adult education.

What was it called again? Languages that one has learned but does not use regularly can easily be forgotten. Through targeted exercises and authentic examples, this knowledge can be refreshed and revitalized. The easiest way to do this is by linking the material to one’s own life - just like in the new textbook Brush up A2.

The focus is on one’s own life. Brush up A2 contains four overarching modules: "About me," "At home," "At work," and "Out and about." The learners and their needs are always at the center. And because it is easiest to talk about oneself, the very first module is entirely about the learners.
