The self-study course "Introduction to Greek" teaches beginners, in 20 engaging lessons, not only basic language structures but also many interesting facts about the country, its people, and culture. The Greek script is systematically introduced in a preliminary course. All dialogues are transcribed in the appendix. Tips for specific learning challenges and guidance on an optimal learning strategy accelerate progress. After every four lessons, a test can be taken to assess knowledge. In the appendix: a commented answer key, grammar overview, and a bilingual alphabetical vocabulary list (approximately 500 words). The audio CDs with authentic language help train listening comprehension and raise awareness of correct pronunciation.
