The self-study course "Introduction to Turkish" teaches beginners, in 20 engaging lessons, not only fundamental language structures but also many interesting aspects about the country, its people, and culture. Tips for specific learning challenges and guidance on an optimal learning strategy accelerate progress. After every four lessons, a test can be taken to assess knowledge retention. Included in the appendix are a commented answer key, a grammar overview, and a bilingual alphabetical vocabulary list (approximately 500 words). The audio CDs with authentic language help train listening comprehension and raise awareness of correct pronunciation.
