Liao Liao is a communicative Chinese language textbook that meets the requirements of modern language teaching. The 15 thematically oriented lessons are clearly structured and provide practical learning material. Following the principle of self-discovery learning, students can independently acquire vocabulary and phrases. In Liao Liao, the characters (simplified characters) are systematically practiced from the very beginning. The workbook includes models for stroke order to assist learners. Students are well-prepared for communication with native Chinese speakers: preparatory exercises prepare them for global, selective, and detailed listening and reading comprehension.
