This short novel for German as a foreign language tells the story of a young Spanish woman who comes to Hildesheim to seek work and a new life. The beginning will not be easy, even though Ana's friend lives in Hildesheim. This down-to-earth novel, which reflects many real experiences of young emigrants, narrates how she manages to feel at home in her new surroundings. The short chapters and simple yet authentic language allow for successful reading and classroom work starting from level A1+. The beautiful illustrations in this book were created by the author herself.
