The Intensive Trainer is a combination of a test booklet and an exercise book for independent learning at home. Through the point system and evaluation at the end of each lesson, learners have the opportunity for self-assessment and can correct themselves using the integrated answer key. The exercises at level A1 are thematically linked to the corresponding lesson in Schritte international 1 and 2. Each lesson includes five pages of exercises and learning tips in the areas of grammar, vocabulary, listening, reading, speaking, and writing. Additionally, the "Break" section offers enjoyable exercise suggestions (songs, comics, and puzzles) for entertaining encounters with the new language. The integrated audio CD contains the listening texts.
