Pictures, play scenes, craft instructions, partner and group games, songs, rhymes, and rhythmic texts encourage children to communicate in simple forms as quickly as possible. Prerequisites: Knowledge of the Latin script. Target group: children aged seven to ten who are learning German without prior knowledge, both domestically and abroad. Learning objective: age-appropriate communication using simple means. Concept: discovery-based learning. The active participation of the students is at the center from the very beginning. The exercises and practice games are designed so that students can carry them out independently in partner or group work and can also partially self-assess. The teacher takes on the role of a facilitator, providing new language materials or exercises.
