Target group: Children aged six to eight who are learning to read and write in their mother tongue using the Latin script or who have learned to read and write in another writing system.

Goals: The language course conveys first sentences and simple structures in a playful manner. An integrated reading program and the introduction of the letters of the Latin alphabet lead to the recognition of word images and the writing of first words and sentences.

Concept: Tamtam is designed to be playful and is based on the motto of active learning.

Listening and speaking: The course begins with an icebreaker game. This is followed by a relaxed sequence of games, songs, comic stories, small dialogues or scenes to reenact, as well as listening stories and rhymes. Simple phrases are built up that the children can use in various situations. Exercises for pronunciation training are also included.
