Product details
The Anti-Bias approach, which originated in the USA and was further developed in South Africa for adult education, has been successfully applied in various fields in Germany since the mid-1990s. The focus of Anti-Bias work is on engaging with one's own experiences of discrimination and developing alternative strategies against discrimination on different levels. This approach provides the opportunity to consciously and responsibly deal with experiences, privileges, and power. Oliver Trisch's qualitative-empirical study aims to theoretically substantiate the Anti-Bias approach, with particular consideration of the historical context in Germany. The study is especially aimed at interested practitioners working in anti-discrimination efforts, based on eight expert interviews.
