I speak Polish. Exercises for foreigners. Levels A1 and A2: This is a manual for improving speaking skills. It has been created for foreigners who are starting or continuing their education. It helps in preparing for certification exams in Polish as a foreign language. Ready-made lesson units are designed for levels A1 and A2. It covers the topics included in the curricula. It consists of 20 chapters (10 for each level). The lesson units follow a similar structure: they begin with tasks that draw attention to the topic, subsequent exercises require increasing independence in formulating statements, and the last three tasks summarize the chapter and prepare for the certification exam. The prompts for statements are mainly authentic texts (e.g., about famous Poles, popular places, cuisine, etc.), infographics, comics, photos, and illustrations. The number of tasks allows for the execution of basic language activities: productive (monologues) and interactive (dialogues). At the exam levels, the student has the opportunity to listen to recordings with sample exam statements.
